HAIR INSPIRATION

My hairstylist suggested I get straight across blunt bangs like Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada:

While I LOVE the movie and I really like the hairstyle on her, I don't think I can tolerate bangs.  It brings back to many bad memories from age 11-16 :)

I'm thinking more along the lines of something like this:

Although I do like this side-swept bang style, maybe we'll come up with a compromise :)

A DAY OF FIRSTS

I made NMA's Pre-Workout Breakfast Salad today.  Only I made it for lunch, after I worked out.  Regardless, it was delicious.  If I wake up early enough tomorrow maybe I will have a pre-workout breakfast salad.

I also gave myself my first half moon manicure.  I like how it looks, I just need more practice making the half moons look like half moons.  Frank just looks pissed off like usual.

Today was my ultra sound, turns out my little almonds are A OK.

Took this guy on a lunch break walk.  And I plan on having at least one glass of celebratory wine tonight :)

Today was one of the best days.  First thing in the morning I went for a long run on a new trail.

Then I took a glorious 3 hour nap.  I also did a little shopping at Ulta.  It was a good day.

Beautiful sunrise this morning.

I was able to fit in a Lunch Break run today.  I took Hooch for a walk as my cool down and he took it as more of an extended rest break :)

I successfully downloaded and listened to an audiobook on my ipod :)  Definately will run listening to books from now on.  Makes the treadmill a little less boring.  I got through 4 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita this morning.

My little agave to go with my big agave.  I've named them Herman & Mumford.  I am so proud of myself for keeping Herman alive for over a week!  We'll see how it goes with Mumford.

I tried a new recipe tonight, tofu & veggies on the grill.  It wasn't terrible but I wouldn't call it delicious either.  I did find out that I really like red peppers and zucchini on the grill, just not tofu or portabella mushrooms or eggplants!
